The artwork was on permanent display at the Muzeum Narodowe w Warszawie (Warsaw) until 2019 when the director ordered it to be removed due to “complaints from visitors”. This led to a protest rally in front of the museum and a strong reaction on social media. The piece was eventually returned to its original location.
