2015. Festival Ingràvid, Figueres.

In 2015, Figueres City Council banned Güell and Orta’s car from being driven along the city’s Rambla as part of Ingràvid, the region’s festival of contemporary culture. It justified that it had applied common sense in a festival that received public funds.

Biography:

Núria Güell (Vidreres, 1981) is a visual artist that sees art as a tool for rethinking the social and political space. 

Levi Orta (Havana, 1984) is an artist who is interested in politics and power dynamics.
